Shoe Art & Myself

To start off, my name is Grace. I am a proud New Yorker studying Film and Media at The University of Tampa. Currently taking Art and Technology, I am eager to learn more about modern Artists and historic pieces of Art which have led to our great technological advances.

Juan Carlos Delgado's shoe Art is probably the most interesting I have seen besides Carol Christian Poell's idea of a rubber-dipped shoe. Although Delgado uses a living organism to literally eat away at the object, Poell simply dips a shoe into rubber and creates a piece of Art. This seamless, rubber-dipped shoe has caught the eye of many around the globe.
